Anahata is proud to host Transformation Yoga Project (TYP) Donation Classes. TYP classes provide gentle, mindfulness-based yoga a safe and supportive environment. TYP classes are for anyone seeking physical and emotional healing. Space to observe stillness, allow emotions to surface without fear of judgment, and create healthy relationships with others is cultivated. Our instructors are trained in trauma-sensitive yoga and honor everyone wherever they are. No yoga experience needed.
Regular yoga practice promotes strength, endurance, flexibility and builds compassion, and greater self-control, while providing a sense of calm and well-being. An ongoing yoga practice can also lead to changes in life perspective, self-awareness and an improved sense of energy to live life fully in the moment and with genuine enjoyment. Yoga helps to calm the fight or flight stress response, creating a sense of balance and union between the mind and body.
This is an inclusive Gentle Class for anyone-those with Anahata Yoga Class Packages are welcome. If you do not have an Anahata Class Package, a suggested donation of $10 is appreciated but not required.
