Would you like to learn to meditate? Perhaps you’ve tried it and felt frustrated or unsure. Anahata offers private one-on-one meditation instruction for those who would like to try meditation with a trained teacher. It’s an opportunity ask as many questions as you like and find the meditation technique that works best for you.

Meditation has been practiced for thousands of years. More and more, doctors are recommending cultivating a mediation practice to reduce many of today’s stress related illnesses. Research has scientifically proven that meditation is a simple and effective way to bring balance and peace to one’s physical, emotional, and mental bodies. Meditation is appropriate for all ages. In addition to reducing stress and stress-related illnesses, meditation can also support personal well-being in the following ways:

Reduces anxiety

Keeps blood pressure at a normal level

Builds self-confidence

Creates a  feeling of deep peace and relaxation

Increases concentration

Increases intuition and creativity

Helps reduce heart disease

Helps with weight loss

And, so much more…

Hello Chris, please note that the start time for the Introduction to Meditation class this coming Tuesday, Jan 24th is 7pm. Our registration page had the start time listed as 7:30pm-that is incorrect. I apologize for any confusion. Warm Regards, Kathy Tooley
